Continental Group of Institutes organized a national level technical and management fest “Xenos'2011” from March 8-9, 2011. The Fest was inaugurated by Mr. Partap Aggarwal, the Managing Director of IDS Infotech Ltd. by lighting the traditional lamp. During interaction with students, Mr. Partap Aggarwal discussed the latest developments in the technology and counselled the students. Col. B. S. Sandhu, CMD, CGI and Maj Gen. B. P. S. Grewal also shared their thoughts with the audience. The two days fest showcased amazing and entertaining competitions like Reincarnation-assembly, E-Graphics-3D view, Switch Craft –circuit design, Electro-whiz-circuit making, Genesis-on the spot S/W development, Web-weaver-web designing, Ad-Mad show, Energizing Entrepreneur, Cut it-Technical documentary etc. The Tech Fest concluded with heart-winning competitions of skit, street kings (Nukkad play), Rhythms (Solo & Group Dances) and Folk Dances (Gidda & Bhangra). Students from various technical institutes like. Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala Institute of Engineering & Technology, Sahibjada Ajit Singh Institute of IT & Research, Swift Group of Colleges and many more participated in the Tech Fest. With an enviable level of participation and an electric mix of events, the tech fest was an extravaganza.
